If you're ever in DC on a Sunday, you should go to church at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. It's apparently the largest Catholic church in the Western Hemisphere, or something like that, and it's beautiful.
I'm a Catholic pediatrician-turned-SAHM who recently moved back from Guam with my husband Jack, our exuberant daughter Faith, our sweet preschooler Josie, our snuggly toddler Jackson, and our overly excitable dog Ollie. And then we had twins! Oh, and the blog title? In my opinion, books, coffee, and babies are, aside from God, probably the three things most required for a good life on this earth.
